An azurite/malachite corn maiden carved by Daniel Chattin with jet inlaid features and mounted to a Nevada sandstone base for added security – with turquoise chips glued all around it. Maidens symbolize abundance, fertility and feminine energy and the corn maiden is venerated in Zuni for giving up her life for the health of the community.
